Yes — the Free plan is free forever: up to 3 screens with Basic-plan features, no credit card required. After 30 days, a "Powered by Smart-Signage" badge appears on the screens. Upgrade to a paid plan whenever you want.

You're not billed for that screen. Billing is based on the number of days the screen actually broadcast content. Details are visible in each invoice's PDF export.
